Playing a Blues Turnaround on Cigar Box Guitar
A blues turnaround is the phrase that leads the end of a 12 bar blues chord progression back to the start - from the chorus back to the verse. They are also often used as introductions.
In the video below I show an example of a fun blues turnaround. It involves a triplet-style fingerpicking run down the frets, and a slide back up.
There is room to play around with this, if you find the triplets too fast or challenging you can use single strums, or work with the rhythm and come up with your own picking or strumming pattern.
